November is over

Now november is over. A month full of interesting live sessions in Italy and in Poland, during which Pierluigi performed the songs of its last work At Home. As you can see, some photographers appreciated a lot his artistic mood and took beautiful pics during the performances. These guys revealed the basic elements of Pierluigi’s style: sophisticated arrangements based on essential guitar parts, a warm voice and touching lyrics. (altro…)

Papa Leg, Cadillac John and Monroe Jones

Monroe Jones’ biography

Monroe Jones, Jr. (1939-2012) was born in Skene and raised in the Delta. He became known as “Little Monroe,” an expert B.B. King stylist, after moving to Chicago, and once bested Robert “Bilbo” Walker so badly in a club performance that Walker was inspired to start learning his own renowned Chuck Berry act in response, by Walker’s account. Jones also learned to play slide guitar in the styles of Earl Hooker and Elmore James, and recorded as second guitarist on an album by slide guitar master Johnny Littlejohn in 1968. (altro…)
